Styling a red blazer: a sure way to expand your wardrobe

Closet full of clothes and nothing to wear every morning is an all too familiar problem most working women have.
I have realised that a lot of us actually have clothes, and i mean lots of clothes without an inkling of how to put them together and make interesting pieces.
Do you have a red blazer? I am sure you do
If you don't,let it be top of your list of items to buy at your next clothes shopping.
Studies(oh yes!) Show that women who wear red appear more attractive, look more radiant and 'have' more energy.
Red looks good on most ,if not all women. So why not try a red blazer?
Do you own a tank top?(black and white tank tops are classics every woman should have).
Do you own a little black dress?
How about an animal print dress?
Let's stretch you a little, an orange dress? A printed palazzo trouser? He he he,let's go!!!!

Look 1:
Pair a red blazer with an animal print dress. I bet you never thought of it. An animal print dress is second only to a little black dress in versatility. You will be seeing a lot of it in my blog posts. Here, this look is elevated with matching(animal print) platform heels. It can go with black heels too. This is an office look. Can also work for date night and church too.

Look2:
Pair a red blazer with a black tank top and a multicolour printed skirt. This look is special as the skirt comes from our work wear collection at house of nukini. It can go with different colored tops and hence stretch your wardrobe till it cries for mercy.

Look3:
Pair a red blazer with a white tank top and a pair of blue jeans. This is an assembly of wardrobe classics(I will cover this in my next post). This look is timeless business casual look!!!

Look4:
Pair a red blazer with a little black dress!!! Ooh c'est la vie!!!! The LBD is the holy grail of wardrobe basics. This one comes from house of nukini

Look 5:
Pair a red blazer with a white tank top and multicolour printed palazzo pants! Okay, hold up,I need to breathe. Your collective gasp just sucked all the oxygen from this e-atmosphere. You can switch it up with a black tank. Perfect for date night, hanging out with the ladies (or guys). No wonder these palazzos sold out but we will restock soon!!

Look 6:
Pair a red blazer with an orange dress. This was an experiment that turned out great. Red and orange are pretty close on the color wheel. Orange is a secondary color obtained by mixing red and yellow.( I will talk about the color wheel in a future post). This look is bound to get you oohs and ahhs!!!! Trust me.

When next you ask, what should I wear, hey!!! Remember the red blazer and expand your wardrobe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See ya!!!!
